BENVENUTI IN ITALIA: LITERATURE, LIFE AND TRAVEL

 ‘Italy is a dream that keeps returning for the rest of your life,' wrote the poet Anna Akhmatova. This three-lecture course lets participants into the dream. It begins by introducing them to famous Italian authors from Dante to the present. The second lecture unpacks 'la dolce vita' (and what daily life and services are really like). The third gives insights into how and where to travel in Italy to get the best from the Bel Paese.
